A journey that began as a safari to Kenya led to a deep and lasting friendship, which led to a loving, caring committment to the people and children of this village
In June 2006, Roberta Cherkin and Michael Preston visited Kenya on a safari. The country’s beauty, spirit and people captivated them. They decided to make a commitment to improve the education and welfare of the people and children of Kenya. To carry this out, they established the Cherkin Preston Foundation and, for the past four years, they have been working with their friend Daniel Kikemu to achieve these goals. Learn More

SUPPORT FOR THE KITONDO PRIMARY SCHOOL
• For the past four years, we have paid the Kenyan Year End National Fee for all graduating students. This reduces the financial burden on the parents.
